Travel Photography by Chiat Hau Photography (Otaru Hokkaido Japan Trip)
I would like to try this restaurant actually. It looks pretty good. :"D

Waking up pretty early on the day 4, to catch a train to the Otaru City. (The train from Sapporo tooks like around 3-4 hours to arrived at Otaru). Seriously I am not sure how Otaru looks like. But, I know that there will be a lot of excitement that is waiting for me out there. Anyway, here is the story goes... :)

More photos after the jump...

Nobody on the opposite of the platform. Feel kinda strange. (usually it is pack!)

I guess I fall asleep during the long trip, but I manage to wake up before we got there. Found that we are pretty much surrounded by sea and some pretty classic japanese houses. The view is just nice... not to mentioned that the weather is on our side as well. :D Arriving at the Otaru, a lot of people is getting down the stations.

Wondering around the city and slowly moving closer and closer to the bay area...We stopped by a flee market along our way where there is a lot of glass art products are sold there. :) and yes good discovery, there is a summer fest there again!! :"D nicely setup and some dancing performance is in progress. excellent! :) Even though I could not really get pretty close to the dancing area, but again you could already feel the joy-ness and the energy delivered by the dancer. After the performance, is time to cured the hungry tummy again. :"D

Otaru is a pretty nice and cozy town. full with a lot of small shops along the street where a lot of their local products (specially art products) are sold here. Something quite interesting is that, they even have a small class that allow the visitors to create their own glass art masterpiece. :) I think all the desserts selling in Otaru are very very delicious. :") (So as you know we have tried most of the foods and desserts that we think we would like to try) x"D

We have a chat, and he is pretty interested to improved his English. We are glad that we could communicate with someone who could understand us. It makes the trip very interesting in deed. :)

And finally, the main event of the day I think, the fireworks of the summer fest. We have wait for a while, buying some tidbits wondering around the area before the evening get darks. Anyway, I think the fireworks is superb. It lasted like 40 minutes and I could just say that it is awesome. At some moment, I just stopped myself and enjoy the moment that I have, hearing people cheers during the fireworks session. :) It is just a very nice experience I will say.
