Hokkaido July 2010 Trip Day 7 - Back to Sapporo

A morning sunlight

Waking up at Lake Toya. It has been a great morning. We have our breakfast in the room after our onsen and bathing session in the morning. Slowing down our pace in the morning sitting at the balcony. enjoying the view out there. :) I am glad that the weather is slightly better compare to yesterday. At least it is not raining in the morning. :)

So we decided to take a walk around the area before we depart with the hotel shuttle back to the train station again. Yes we are going to go back to Sapporo again for a quick stop before we depart to Furano (on my next post) :"P The morning has been great, walking along the lake. sitting at the small harbor that they have. And again, snapped a few shoots for LB here. :")

Our first stop at the Sapporo is the Hokkaido University. I believe it has been years that I didn't step into a university. The environment here is very nice. :) You could see everybody cycling and walking around the uni to go to their faculty. :") (Just like we used to be) One thing interesting is that there is a museum in there and they are opened up to public for free for that month. Guess we are lucky. They have exibition on dinosaurs history with skeletons!! (I like it a lot) :)

On our way to the city council at Hokkaido, we pass by a park where there is quite a lot of beer stalls there. it is more like a beer festival I believe and there is a lot of Japan beer company participate in it. Nothing much on the city council though, but they have quite a lot of information (in Japanese) on how Japan have trade and exchange souvenirs with other countries.

And lastly, we went back to the Sapporo park again. Sitting near the fountain and enjoy the night view of the clock tower. :) (And of course with a Potato as our tidbits while we are doing so...)
