Danbo - L15A VTEC Engine

Adventures continue - Danbo found the VTEC this round.
Just another great weekend before another 2 weeks of fully pack weeks. Although we didn't go out this weekend (LB is on call this week, so for safety precaution, we decided to stay at home just in case anything pops up). Guess we only went out on SAT night just to get some groceries and stay at home for house chores and laundry. And yes, finally after weeks (or months, darn me...) of neglect-ion, I finally give my car a proper car wash. :"D

More photos after the jump...

It is a very good work out and exercise for me. :") I even did an engine cleaning as well. So, I decided to give the engine bay some quick shoot. Of course with Danbo in it. This round is another 2 lights setup. Started with just plain light (Think that it is kinda plain for a dramatic Danbo shoot, So i throw in some 1/2 CTO and blue gel here. I think the whole shoot will be even better with an additional light from the bottom). Anyway this round I included some additional BTS shoot where you could see the engine bay shoot before and after it is gel-ed. BTS shoot as below for the setup geeks. ;)

Un-geled flash - Looks pretty good but, feel that it is not that dramatic enough

Throw in the 1/2 CTO with some blue gel - Gonna love how the color change the whole scene. ;)

BTS - for all the setup geeks. Just love the color here, so I didn't change it to B/W. :)
Anyway, it has been a great week. :) Managed to finish at least a DVD that I wanna watched and then a car wash and some minor photo shoot. Which feels very good in deed. I will get some rest now, accompany LB for her favorite Taiwan TV show. :) I hope all of you do have a great night (and weekend) as well. Signing off... ;)

  1. Wow... look like a new engine...
How many years old is your car? If I'm not wrong, should be more than 6 years?
