Sitting at the lobby... after having our breakfast that day. (Still have the aroma of the coffee lingering in my mouth). Gosh love their coffee here. Is the day we depart to Ha Long Bay and we are waiting for our travel agent transport to the harbor. I decide to take a walk outside of the hotel to get some shoot. The weather is drizzling and is like welcoming us for a good trip to Ha Long Bay. :")

The street is still quite and everyone just started their day. Noodles stall just started their business and people are filing up their tummy to get their day started. :") The tour agent welcome us and brought us to our transport. But guess they will still need to fetch a few more passengers from a few more hotels. 1 family from Singapore, 2 couples from Ireland and Australia. We introduce ourselves when the trip started (That's how I know where are they from) and the tour guide provided us some history of Hanoi as well as Ha Long Bay. then follow with some scenery viewing session (in the van) along the way. I guess it is a mixture of a few things for me in the van, the scenery, the nap as well as the comic book (which I downloaded into my mobile phone). :") It is quite a long drive (3 hours +) to the harbor.
Upon arriving, we have been greeted by a France captain and he is the one who will be managing all our arrangements on the boat for the next 2 days. Departed to our our actual ship in a smaller ship. The bigger one looks more macho compare to the smaller one of course. (I still thought that the smaller boat is the boat that we are going to use to cruise along the Ha Long Bay... haha. I don't want to be like like the boy in the movie "Life Of Pi" If anything happen after that) :"P. Anyway our first activity is cruising along in the fishing boat rowed by the lady in the fishing village. And then have a small tour to the fishing village as well. (Anyway, on the ship we do have quite a lot of meals, lunch, tea time... tibbits...etc). So I will just scrap that part.
I think the most interesting part is we ended the day with a spring-roll making session as well as simple dinner which cooked by the chef on the spot for us. And for the after hours activity, we just left with only movie watching OR prawn fishing session. (Haha...) So guess what, I have go for the prawn fishing session and there we met a few Germans who talked about their life and works. (Very interesting in deed). But of course, we didn't manage to catch any prawn at all! (So, the conclusion that we have is that, this is an activity that is used to burn our time :"D). Anyway, it's has been a tiring day and we have quite a deep rest after our bath. More adventurous session continue at Ha Long Bay tomorrow. Stay tune... ;)
